One Year Older...and Wiser Too!

My baby is ONE!!! I can't believe it! I think that this year has flown by, and I think that I got jipped! I just needed my cuddly little boy to stay a baby for a minute, but he's already growing up!

 He getting a mind of his own, and he thinks that he belongs outside. So most days he's covered in dirt and sand and has a bit of a sunburn, but he loves it and it keeps him happy so that's what we do. He is adored by his brother and sisters. And quite frankly, I think he loves the attention. He is always happy to see them when they get out of school.

 and maybe some day he will grow up to be a firefighter...who knows, but this picture is adorable!

I love my little Ty Ty. My life wouldn't be the same without him. He is such a sweet boy! I'm grateful that I get to be his Mommy.

Orange Measles

Sarah's Back! and I put her right to work! After nine years of living my bedrooms needed a nice fresh coat of paint, so Sarah, the luckiest girl alive, got to help me. Of course we only finished one room because... 

 

I think I killed her! But we are making progress! She's a good sport to help me. I love having Sarah here, it's fun to have her around.

So, our first attempt was pretty disturbing. We wanted to do a peachy color, what we got was Hawaian Passion! Does this look like passion? Hawaian style? NO! This looks like ORANGE MEASLES!! Bleh. I wanted to throw up everytime I walked in there!

 

But thanks to Shawna, and our beloved friend...pinterest, I think we fixed it.



In the end it turned out kinda fun and cheery, but I never realized how hard it was going to be to match orange! nothing goes with orange except more orange, so we shall see how it all turns out...If I ever get around to the curtains and other stuff!
