I recruited the boys to help me with some yard work!
It looks so good!! It felt nice to have it all cleaned up nice.
Addie and Bentley have been spending lots of time with us since they are living out at Gunlock in a small trailer. It has been fun to have them around so much! Addie and I are starting some scrapbooking projects and that has been fun.
We raided Lisa's pool.
It was so nice. The water was freezing at first, but it warmed up and it was so fun.
We've been swimming a lot this summer, but we usually go to Wylene's pool. It's so nice to have friends with pools, they are so nice to let us use them!
We had an Allred family reunion up at Rocky Ridge. The Babe has been voted by his siblings to be the new mayor of Rocky Ridge.
He had a lot of fun catching up with his cousins and his aunts and uncles.
Porter jammed his thumb pretty bad during football camp, so we made a little trip to the instacare, just to make sure it wasn't broken. When we got out of the car, I asked him to grab my purse. He went back to satchel carrying days and for a minute I saw that little boy who insisted on carrying my "satchel" and wanted to be called Flynn Ryder! He's adorable....then and now!
I'm trying to build a little apothecary. My friend Jessica and I convinced my neighbor Jayme to teach us everything she knows about hers. Turns out, she know A LOT! And now it has turned into a whole class. We meet every two weeks and we learn about herbal remedies and we make tinctures and different herbal things together. It has been really enjoyable. I'm learning a lot. It's very cool to learn the plants and what they can do for us.
