Buggie's Birthday!

This special little lady is such a joy and a blessing to us! All of our children are. We couldn't have asked for a better little bundle! Leighna is 11 years old! I remember the day she was born. The nurses called her "Little Grasshopper" because she was so wiggly. It was like she was so excited for this little body she couldn't wait to get it moving. She loved it when  the nurses gave her first bath and when they started to wash her hair. Addie was really afraid of her and wouldn't hold her or touch her until we showed her Leighna's feet. Once she saw her tiny little toes, she was head over heels for her baby sister! They have been the closest friends ever since! 

I love Bugga's Laugh, it's the cutest thing ever! 

A few years ago I decided to do a mystery dinner for one of the kids' birthdays. It has become a tradition ever since. The kids love it! Bugga especially! So we had a fabulous mystery dinner with spaghetti. She picked an under the sea theme so everything they ordered was sea related. It was fun. We love you Bug! I can't believe you're 11. But I'm so glad you are!!! 

HAGS #4...Girls Camp

Thanks to Add, girls camp made it to our HAGS list. It was fun to be there for her first year,  she definitely has gained some independence though.  Mostly I watched from a distance and every now and then she would throw me a crumb and come find me.  I was at the top of the zip line helping our girls when they went down.  When it was Add's turn she hopped right up,  took a couple deep breathes and began soaring down the mountain side.  I stood at the top and cried.  My baby has learned to fly.  And not alone,  entirely. She still needs me.  But not in the same ways that she used to. It was beautiful and heart breaking at the same time.  Why does time have to go by so fast!
I'm so grateful that The Babe was there. He is my strength.  I'm so glad I'm doing all of this growing up stuff with him!
