Happy Halloween

Don't let him fool you! I pulled up my phone to take his picture, so he grabbed the book to make it look like he reads! He doesn't read!!! ha ha

It's Halloween and we have a football game tonight. Who plans football games on Halloween??? All the moms are dressing up in their son's uniforms. Luckily, I got Porter's on, but barely!

I went and watched Will in his Halloween parade.

Cute little cow!

Then it was off to the game. The game started at 4 pm, so our high school had all of the school sponsors set up a trunk-or-treat on the track so the elementary kids could go trick-or-treating. That was very nice of them.

By the time we were done with the game, we took Will down one street to trick-or-treat and halfway through he said he was done and just wanted to go home. That was fine with me because I was too, but I felt bad for him. He only has one or 2 Halloweens left as a little kid and I feel bad. I'm grateful they had the trunk-or-treat at the game. This was the first Halloween that The Babe was actually here. He is usually at the Bison Roundup but that starts on Monday, so it was so nice to have him here this year. I'm usually doing Halloween solo. I guess it would have been nice of me to actually take his picture since he was here, but it's documented, so, he gets credit!

Happy Happy Birthday Porter

Porter is 17 today!

He is in the same boat as Addie this year, he had a lame birthday. I was not on my birthday game this year. I feel bad.

Sometimes when your oldest kids are growing up, and doing new things, you forget that the younger kids are growing up too. It's kind of weird to think that Porter is 17! He only has one more year until he is an official adult. That freaks us both out. Neither one of us like it, but we sure like him.

Porter is great, he is so fun to have around. He has a very fun-loving personality, and he is helpful too when he is home.
We love you Porter, so very much!
Happy Birthday!

Donut Night

I was actually too tired and at the end of my capacity when it came time for donut night this year. I was going to skip it altogether and just let it die after a 20+ year run. I don't actually know how many years it's been, but it's been a very long time. But then Leighna, asked me to do it for her since she is going to be gone for next year's donut night. So, I caved and pulled everything I had left in me together and pulled off another donut night! That table was full when we started, but I always forget to get a picture before everyone starts eating them. And it's always too chaotic to take any pictures. I always think about it after everyone has gone. There were over 300 donuts on that table!

Oscar's

They planted fish at the lake today, so we had to take advantage and go catch a few! Sarah and her kids went with us, it was fun.

Later we decided to go on a girl's night out to Oscar's.
Bentley works up there and he kindly gives us his family discount, so it's so fun to eat there! It's up in Springdale, so you're surrounded by beautiful red cliffs and the scenery of Zion, it's beautiful and their food is so good!

As we were climbing in the car, Porter pulled up and said he was starving so came along on our date!

I tried to teach them manners, buuuuutttt.......

I think they just inhaled their burgers!

Bentley served us up a nice treat too!

The volcano brownie!
So yummy, so fun!
We love Oscar's!

Welcome Home Mom and Dad

My parents are officially done with their mission!

Katie threw them a welcome home party at her corn maze.
It was so nice, everyone made it except for Mandy's family and Addie and Bentley and we missed them. It's Bentley's birthday today so they are with his family. That's going to be hard to get used to.
It was a little rebellious of us because we did it on Sunday, but there just wasn't another time until the beginning of December when we could all get together. It's getting harder and harder now that our families are all getting older.
My parents did such a good job on their mission. This year they helped build the faith walk at the camp. I'm sure I've written about it before, but it is truly incredible and will change so many lives! It's amazing. We are so proud of them for serving, but we are also so glad to have them back!

Katie and Allen have worked so hard and they really have put together the cutest corn maze! It's a lot of fun!

We had such a good time being together! I love my family so much! They are a blessing to me!

Wesley and Hartley are so cute! I love when they come to my house!

I'm not even sure what's happening here but just go with it!

Another game in the books! Go Tigers!
